Rosalía has pushed back three scheduled performances in Florida because of what has been described as a "family emergency".
The Spanish superstar was due to begin the North American leg of her Lux Tour with two shows in Miami, Florida on Thursday and Friday, before heading to Orlando for a concert on Monday.
However, officials at the venues confirmed on Thursday that all three performances would be postponed to future dates.
"Due to a family emergency, Rosalía has to postpone her upcoming shows in Miami on June 4 & 6," the team at Miami's Kaseya Center announced on X. "She is sorry to disappoint her fans, but the circumstances have left her with no other choice."
Representatives from Live Nation later issued a similar statement regarding the Orlando concert through social media.
Fans have been advised to keep their tickets while efforts are made to arrange replacement dates for the affected shows.
Rosalía has not yet publicly commented on the family situation or the postponed concerts. Earlier this week, however, she shared that she had already arrived in Miami and was preparing for the start of the U.S. portion of her tour.
The 33 year old performer launched the Lux Tour in March with a run of dates across France in support of her fourth album, Lux. She completed the European leg in London on May 6 and, following the Florida postponements, is currently expected to resume touring in Boston on June 11.
The latest postponements mark another challenge during the tour. On March 25, Rosalía was forced to end her concert in Milan, Italy ahead of schedule after suffering from severe food poisoning. She later told fans she was too unwell to continue performing.
The Lux Tour is currently scheduled to wrap up with a final show in Puerto Rico this September.
