His estate will release an expanded tenth anniversary edition of his 2016 album The Divine Feminine on October 2, with “Butterflies” arriving earlier this week as its first offering. Backed by bass from Thundercat, Mac explores romance and uncertainty through a charming vocal performance over rich, beautiful production. The anniversary edition will also include two additional unreleased songs, giving fans even more reason to anticipate the project.
