Coldplay ended their week-long Late Late Show residency on a high note. Or rather, a "Higher Power" note.
Performing to a live studio audience, the British pop-rock outfit unleashed "Higher Power," the uplifting opening track from their new album Music Of The Spheres.
Judging by the spontaneous clapping and hollering in the crowd, the spirited effort went down a treat.
Coldplay opened their late-night stint Monday with “Let Somebody Go,” featuring Selena Gomez; followed up with “My Universe;” and, on Wednesday night, Chris Martin led a touching rendition of “Human Heart” with We Are KING and Jacob Collier.
Music Of The Spheres is making its impact felt on sales charts around the globe. The band’s ninth studio album blasted to No. 1 on Australia’s chart, and it was the runaway leader on the midweek U.K. survey.
