Jimii N°1 Brings Hope through Uplifting Single, “Always Good”

Singer and songwriter Jimii N°1 reminds listeners that there’s always good in the world through his uplifting single, “Always Good.” The hit single off his debut album, “Be Still and Know,” “Always Good” features a colorful music video and positive affirmations to instill a sense of hope and positivity in listeners.

“My single is a toe tapper,” tells Jimii N°1. “It’s upbeat, driving, and positive. A hopeful reminder that you’re loved.” A believer in framing your mindset toward positivity, Jimii N°1 instructs listeners to choose to see good in life. “Always Good” is a reminder that you’re loved and there’s hope and you’re not alone—good is always around you. If you find that and focus on it, being positive lifts you up. What you focus on expands, and when you focus on good, you create more of it.”

A man of faith, Jimii N°1 acknowledges the power of prayer and the importance of trusting the universe to come together for you at the end of the day. “In a way, one thing I’ve learned in life is that you have the opportunity to see that things are working for your good if that’s what you want. Most of my life, I’ve asked God / the universe / the essence that surrounds you how to be, how to move, and what I should do. That’s where your faith and prayer come in. When you pray, sometimes you have to wait for an answer but it’s good to put faith behind that prayer and let the universe do its things.”

When it came to creating “Always Good,” Jimii N°1 began with the lyrics, focusing on the challenges he was facing. “I was thinking very fearfully about what was transpiring. In that process, it dawned on me that good is always there for me. From then on, the rest of it came easily.”

“Be Still and Know,” Jimii N°1’s debut album, is a celebration of the light within. The album includes tracks “Use Your Faith”—the rock and hip-hop inspired album opener—and “Grateful,” a song of thanks and praise. The album was written to help give comfort and hope to people. “My songs are affirmations,” shares Jimii N°1. “‘Always Good’ is an affirmation that helps you remember there’s always good and to look for the good.”

This year, Jimii N°1 is planning to work on his next video release and write a new album. He hopes his music reaches people who need encouragement, people who are feeling alone. “This is a love letter and inspiration for people who aren’t being heard. I’m blessed and I’m grateful and I’ve been blessed and I really hope I’m able to do that for others.”
