FBG Casino, the brother of Future, was arrested in Georgia last week along with another suspect during a joint FBI and DEA operation.
Future’s recent legal concerns usually revolve around copyright disputes and other relatively minor issues for an artist of his stature. Unfortunately, his reported brother and Freebandz rapper FBG Casino, whose real name is Rico Deville Buice, is now facing a far more serious situation. FBI and DEA officials reportedly discovered fentanyl in his possession and charged him with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute.
According to Complex, federal agents conducted a raid on an Airbnb in Forest Park, Georgia on Friday, November 14 and uncovered twenty one kilograms of fentanyl. Prosecutors claim that Casino attempted to flee but could not get away. Authorities also arrested a co defendant identified as David Estevan Montillo Diaz.
In addition, agents reportedly seized three hundred thousand dollars in cash stored inside a cardboard box and another eighty thousand dollars inside a Goyard bag that authorities believe belongs to the Different artist. Investigators reached that conclusion after seeing an Instagram post of him posing with a similar bag. Federal agents also allegedly found four thousand dollars in Casino’s pocket at the time of his arrest.
Prosecutors further accused the brother of the "Tony Montana" artist of lying about earning two thousand one hundred sixty six dollars and sixty seven cents per month as a studio manager. They pointed to a former four million dollar home and several luxury vehicles as reasons to doubt his claim. Due to the seriousness of the alleged crimes and concerns that he may try to run, they want FBG Casino held without bail.
Prosecutors also addressed the specific circumstances federal agents encountered during the raid. They reportedly believe "the totality of the circumstances here strongly suggest" that Diaz was selling the drugs to FBG Casino when the raid happened.
"This operation is an example of the power of the Task Force in disrupting deadly drug trafficking operations," FBI Atlanta’s Paul Brown, their Special Agent in Charge, reportedly said. "The seizure of 21 kilograms of fentanyl and over 380,000 dollars in drug proceeds is a direct hit to those who seek to poison our communities. The FBI, in partnership with our law enforcement colleagues, will relentlessly pursue these criminals and hold them accountable."
We will have to wait and see how Casino’s case progresses. Meanwhile, Future has had a relatively quiet year, with most headlines focusing on rumored conflicts, guest appearances, and performances throughout 2025.
