Ariana Grande Celebrates No. 1 Hit ‘Hate That I Made You Love Me’ With Emotional Message

The pop star is now tied for the 10th most No. 1s in the Billboard Hot 100's history.

Ariana Grande is officially in the “tens club” after reacting emotionally on Instagram on Monday (June 8), following news that her single “Hate That I Made You Love Me” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking her 10th chart topping hit.

In her Instagram message, Grande expressed disbelief and gratitude over the milestone, writing, “Crying…….. thank you all from the bottom of my heart for my tenth number one ! ! ! i simply cannot believe those words,” while thanking collaborators including producer ILYA and Max Martin.

She went on to credit her fans for their long standing support, adding, “The fierce love and support that you all show is still and will always be unfathomable to me… there isn’t a day that goes by where i don’t feel it and that it is something that i will never, ever take for granted.”

The single, released May 29, marks her 10th No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, tying her for 10th most No. 1 hits in chart history. It was produced by ILYA and Max Martin, with Max Martin extending his record for most No. 1s by a producer.

Commercially, the track debuted with strong numbers including 23.6 million streams, 18.9 million radio audience impressions, and 70,000 sales units in its first tracking week, according to Luminate. It also topped the Digital Song Sales and Billboard Global 200 charts.

The achievement comes as Ariana Grande launched her Eternal Sunshine Tour in Oakland, California on June 6, with additional shows scheduled in Los Angeles and beyond. Her upcoming album Petal is set for release on July 31.

Petal arrives on July 31. See Ariana Grande’s full reaction below:
