Bon Jovi have been announced as the first headliners for the 2027 edition of American Express presents BST Hyde Park. The Grammy-winning rock band will return to London’s Hyde Park on Thursday 24 June 2027 for an exclusive UK performance, 14 years after opening the festival’s inaugural series in 2013.
Frontman Jon Bon Jovi shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming show, describing the return as a full-circle moment. He said the Hyde Park performance would give the band an opportunity to recapture the remarkable atmosphere they have experienced with British audiences on recent tours, while celebrating their musical legacy with fans who have supported them for decades.
The announcement follows a major period for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees after their Forever Tour. The tour included nine sold-out shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden, packed stadium dates in Edinburgh and Dublin, and three consecutive sold-out performances at London’s Wembley Stadium. The band have also recently released FOREVER (Legendary Edition), a reworked version of their latest studio album featuring an impressive lineup of guest artists, including Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Williams, Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson.
Jim King, CEO of AEG Presents UK and European Festivals, welcomed the band’s return, praising their enduring worldwide popularity and catalogue of timeless rock anthems. Bon Jovi’s memorable 2013 appearance helped establish the festival’s reputation, and BST Hyde Park has since become one of London’s leading summer music events, welcoming major international artists to its central London stages.
Tickets for the 2027 performance will go on general sale on Friday 23 October at 10am BST through the official festival website, with presales scheduled throughout the week. More supporting acts and additional headliners for the 2027 lineup are expected to be announced in the coming months.
