Este Haim and Jonathan Levin have officially married.
The Haim musician and the Chainalysis co founder exchanged vows in a private ceremony in California on New Year’s Eve.
Representatives for the newlyweds have yet to comment publicly on the wedding.
Ahead of the celebration, Este spoke with U.S. Vogue about the upcoming nuptials in a joint interview alongside her sisters and bandmates Danielle Haim and Alana Haim, during a visit to the Louis Vuitton atelier in Paris.
“I’ve been looking forward to this day since I was five,” she told the magazine. “When I was five, I had this vision of me, coming down a spiral staircase, there’s a scene in Cinderella that probably is what I was mimicking, but I would descend in this giant ballroom gown, and then my fiancé, my husband, would be at the bottom and grab my hand.”
Louis Vuitton womenswear creative director Nicolas Ghesquière created what was described as a voluminous and dramatic gown in line with Este’s wishes. He also sketched the bridesmaids’ dresses as well as Este’s look for the reception.
“Seeing the process of Nicolas designing in real time was one of the craziest experiences I think collectively of our existence. It’s almost like he crept into my dreams and looked at what I was sketching in my head, and was like, ‘Alright, I know what she wants,’” the 39 year old said with a smile.
While many details of the wedding remain private, Este shared that the celebration itself would be joyful and lively for everyone attending.
“I’m looking forward to seeing my entire family together, for the first time in a long time, and partying with my friends, and finally being married,” she said. “Though the most important thing is that I’m getting married and that I met the right person. See you in 2026!”
Este and Jonathan announced their engagement in December 2024.
