Nia Na’an Jumps into Our Playlists with Upbeat Single ‘Bobble Bobble Wiggle Bounce’

Blending pop, R&B, and hip-hop into catchy melodies laced with memorable lyrics, Nia Na’an leans into her authentic, enthusiastic sound.

Recording artist Nia Na’an is ready to shine her light on the music world through her debut single, “Bobble Bobble Wiggle Bounce.” Released on September 12, 2026, the single takes listeners into Nia’s upbeat and inquisitive universe, where everything is equal parts playful and thought-provoking.

A young, African American teen coming into her own, Nia is an extroverted introvert leaning on music for both self-expression and release. She’s not yet ready to go out and conquer the world yet has a strong hold on her thoughts and expressions.

Being young and carefree doesn’t detract from Nia’s work ethic. In fact, she’s motivated and determined beyond her years. For Nia, songwriting is a journey she hopes to continue for as long as she can. Each song is both an accomplishment and a learning experience for Nia, who understands the importance of growth in her art.

Blending pop, R&B, and hip-hop into catchy melodies laced with memorable lyrics, Nia Na’an leans into her authentic, enthusiastic sound. Nia is a dreamer who manages to stay grounded and remind us to live in the present moment. She sincerely hopes to inspire listeners while — most importantly — providing an upbeat soundtrack to their everyday joy.

These days, Nia splits her time between Chicago and California, where she works alongside John Martin Hunter to create new music to share with her fans. “Bobble Bobble Wiggle Bounce” was produced at Hunter’s Cowhand Rockstar studio in Temecula, California. In the recording studio, what Nia brings in youthful energy, Hunter matches with years of wisdom and experience in the music industry.

Partnering with producer John Martin Hunter has been nothing short of a dream for Nia. Hailing from Chicago, Nia grew up playing Double Dutch with friends in the playground. When she learned that Hunter had been reminiscing on the days of playground games, envisioning classmates swinging ropes and chanting alongside giggles and eager participation, she knew it was kismet.

Before working with Nia Na’an, John Martin Hunter was an acclaimed musician of his own accord. John previously released four albums on the Columbia Records family, two as lead singer/principal songwriter of The Hounds, another two as a solo artist. The Hounds, a Chicago band, extensively toured and often shared the stage with bands such as Journey, Judas Priest, Scorpions, AC/DC, REO, Styx, Ozzy and numerous others. Hunter also wrote and performed the Top 40 song “Tragedy.”

While Nia inspires each song, John Martin Hunter steers the ship, leading the way with his familiarity of the industry and artist development, both crucial to Nia’s growth as an artist and personality.

Nia’s debut single began with the vocal riff at the start of the song and quickly evolved to the bubble gum popping sensation we hear today. From its first riff, “Bobble Bobble Wiggle Bounce” sweeps listeners into Nia’s fantasy land full of everything sweet and a dash of spice. “This song is pretty quirky,” tells Hunter, who composes Nia’s songs on the keyboard and grand piano, followed by synths and keyboard.

“Bobble Bobble Wiggle Bounce” began as a vision of jelly beans, gum drops, and Jello wiggling. “It was all sorts of nonsense things that jiggle,” Hunter adds. From that point, the lyrics flowed, and Nia’s new single was born.

The single is one of 14 songs Nia looks forward to sharing with her fans over the coming year. While “Bobble Bobble Wiggle Bounce” is full of sass and energy, her music varies, incorporating a variety of genres and moods to capture listeners across a spectrum of musical tastes.

“Bobble Bobble Wiggle Bounce” is available on all streaming platforms, with promotional support from Starlight PR.
